Georgian Intaglio Seal Fob "La Fortune Passe Partout" venus Known as a family locketDATE: Georgian, 1824 A superb Georgian intaglio seal fob dating from the early 19th Century. The shield shaped bloodstone panel has been carved with a heraldic crest an eagle, wings outstretched, with one talon on a drinking horn and motto: "La Fortune Passe Partout" which translates as Fortune In All Things (or Fortune is Everywhere). It's modelled in 18k gold, with exceptional textured detailing and English hallmarks from the year 1824. STONES
