La Miraja 'Le Masche' Barbera D'Asti DOCG, 2022 mourvedre notes of buttery toffeeLe Masche is a textbook expression of Barbera from Asti, sourced from the legendary Majole vineyard planted in 1972 at 250 meters elevation. Hand harvested fruit undergoes 10 days of skin contact during native fermentation, followed by 12 months in neutral oak. The result is a medium bodied wine of uncommon complexity: intense aromas of red cherry, black plum, and blackberry with licorice and rose, balanced by fresh acidity and a gentle finish. Named
