Mount Eden Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Santa Cruz, 2018 tinta barocca The lime and clay-rich soilsThis wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot blended in as well. It is aged in equal parts French and American Oak, both new and used, for 24 months. The vines were planted in the 80's from cuttings that can trace their lineage back to a vineyard planted in the 1890's that used cuttings from Chtea Margaux.
