He was a TWA Captain and flew with this flight case in the ~5 years before he retired, in '98. It is Olive Drab fabric, 22" x 14" x 9". It has a zippered, accordion pleat that allows it to expand ~2" in thickness. It has interior elastic straps and securing panels, and the top has a zippered mesh panel. The elastic is still elastic!
